Multi activity day

Skeet shooting clay pigeons, tooling around in a dune buggy and cruising in a hovercraft are just a few of many activities you and your team can try during Multi Activity Day. You can choose a full day of 6 or more activities or a half day with no more than 4, depending on your schedule. Mix and matching the activities with team building skills makes for an active day!
Activities Behind the Wheel:
By Hill or By Water:
Argo cats are rather unique vehicles which have a bit of amphibious qualities to them. They are perfect for rough terrain, sloping hills and can even float on water. There is just one teensy problem – you have no steering wheel! A great team building exercise, piloting an Argo cat is tricky with just two levers controlling the wheels but you will have an instructor work with you before you take to the specially designed obstacle course on this 8-wheeled vehicle.
Souped Up Honda Buggies:This little Honda four wheeled off-roading vehicle is just the ticket to go tooling around a specially designed grass track. This vehicle is quite safe with its full roll cage, independent suspension for a smooth ride, a safety harness and speeds up to 60 miles per hour.
You get a little pep talk with one of the instructors, learning about safety in this off-roading vehicle as well as getting outfitted in a special protective helmet. You get to practice a bit before racing against the clock on a special course. These four wheeled buggies are perfect for solo races or even team building exercises with driver swaps.
Hovercraft Navigation:
Hovercrafting is a new way to drive and you feel as if you are floating fast over the countryside. You get a safety talk from some instructors as well as tutelage on how to handle the hovercaft, especially since it has no brakes! While capable of high speeds, the hovercraft will likely top close to 50 miles per hour during your tenure behind the wheel. You will have to expertly make your way around a special obstacle course in a timed event, knowing when to speed and when to slow down. With no brakes and a challenging steering job, you should have quite the ride!
Pint-Size Quad Bike Racing:
If you have ever ridden a four wheeled sporting bike, it is quite fun isn’t it? Well, the ultimate in team building requires that you and your team race in micro quad bikes. The perfect size for a small child, adults will instead be racing them in a special obstacle course. You get instruction from a professional as well as safety gear before taking to the track. These tiny bikes move fast with you just inches from the ground, creating quite a rush. There is nothing like grown adults pushing the limits of their body, trying to fit on these pint-size quad bikes!
Tonka Toys for the Grown-up:
Do you remember playing with Tonka toys as a kid such as those backhoe machines perfect for scooping out large holes? Guess what? You can play with a life-size machine called a JCB digger!
Your instructor will teach you all the safety measures you will need for not only driving the digger apparatus but also controlling the digging “arm” of the machinery. Just because the instructor has had experience digging graves does not mean you are headed in the same direction! You will compete against team mates in carefully constructed obstacle challenges such as scooping up objects and placing them in nets. It is actually a lot harder to do this than dig holes with this mechanical moving arm! Oh, and this fun overgrown Tonka toy challenge is timed.
Go-Karting:
You have excellent steering capability and the go-kart moves like a dream. These special go-karts are situated close to the ground which allows for better maneuverability on tight obstacle courses. The sliding and tight corners allow for fast lap times, especially when your kart can go up to 50 miles per hour!
Safety instructors will tutor you on the fine mechanics of this go-kart craft. Then, you are set free to practice some laps in the kart before running time trials in this team building activity.
Contrary Driving:
What would you do behind the wheel of a vehicle that does just the opposite of what you want it to do? This is the principle behind this challenging activity where you steer your car right but it goes left and vice versa. How nerve wracking!
Your driving teacher will show you the highlights behind the wheels of a specially modeled Land Rover for your reverse steering adventure. You and three other team mates will set off in the vehicle to navigate an obstacle course full of tricky turns. If you do not know your left from your right, this activity just might be right up your alley! The driving test through the obstacle course will be timed so you are pitted against others. The course is plotted with special markers, that if you hit them, you earn penalties that add to your course time. You may just want to hand in your driver’s license after this Contrary Driving activity.
Mud Biking:
Quad bikes are quite fun, traversing over rough terrain and open lands. However, add the mud factor and it becomes a whole new level of activity. Of course, you start off with a safety lesson from your quad instructor before setting off on a few practice laps to get you warmed up. Once you are comfortable maneuvering the quad bike, you are let loose with several other team mates over challenging terrain such as inclines, wooded areas and of course, water hazards which can make things a wee bit muddy. You can get as much as 45 miles per hour out of these fun quad bikes so ride fast and furious.
Buggy on Steroids:
Let loose your wild side with these buggies that can go as fast as 60 miles per hour. There are huge roll bars and cage for protection and full suspension that can handle whatever ride you throw at it.
You will get decked out in all the required safety gear and receive instruction for safe operation of the buggies. This riding activity is in a team relay format, so you will have to rely on your team mates, not just yourself, for a good showing.
