Delegation Challenge
Each team in your group is supplied with a package that contains a number of challenges and tasks in three levels of difficulty – easy, intermediate and hard. You can expect photography challenges in addition to mental puzzles, creative chores, construction projects and other challenges for the team. As tasks are completed, the team earns play money and everyone needs to learn ways to maximize potential earnings.
Objectives of the Delegation Challenge:
- To display situations where problem solving, team make-up, organization skills, time management and leadership all play a role solving the tasks as a cohesive team.
- Kickstart effective brainstorming and problem-solving.
- To show that teamwork can be even more effective than going solo.
- To practice and demonstrate negotiation skills.
All the activities in the Delegation Challenge are designed to encourage total team playing. Everyone must rely on the other to complete a specific task for the success of the team. Are you all thinking outside the box? How creative can you all get? The proposed challenges will answer these questions.
End Result:
Of course, there are going to be more challenges that there is time to accomplish them. Therefore, team work must be number one. Can you all use your time and resources wisely? Will you choose the most effective tasks that earn the team the most money? The team with the most accumulated money wins in the end.
The Ending:
For those team building events that last a full day, your teams will be challenged with a rollercoaster – building one, that is! Each team in your group gets a set of blueprints to interpret. Each team must build one component of the rollercoaster that when put together creates the finished product. This rollercoaster is for transporting balls so will the final rollercoaster product hold a true course for them or fall off the tracks?
