You can try these cool circus activities:

Balancing act:
This is the ultimate in team building activities. With this activity, you literally trust another person to support you in a number of acrobatic activities. Human pyramids and other structures are common in circus acts and you learn how with your team mates under the strict tutelage of trained circus performers.

Trapeze Performing:
In your flying trapeze class as well as your stationary trapeze class, you are harnessed for safety so you can avoid injury. Throw caution to the wind and step off that high platform and fly, trusting your team mates will catch you – with a bit of professional instruction from real circus trapeze performers. Or, develop your own routine with the stationary trapeze. It can be quite exhilarating!

The Popular Art of Juggling:
Juggling is usually a solitary pursuit but circus performers often like doing group juggling activities. In this team building juggling class, not only will you learn so solo juggling but also group juggling as well. Whether it is balls, sticks or more exotic fare, you can juggle solo or in a group and develop a cool routine.

Standing Tall:
One of the marvels of the circus has always been the stilt walkers. How do they maintain their balance and still perform? You will learn some secrets of circus stilt walkers and try out a pair of stilts yourself. This is an exceptional team building experience as you have to rely on others to help you keep your balance when you are a few feet off the ground. Once you manage simple stilt walking, you will start incorporating extra movements for a personal routine.

Tightrope Walking:
Do you aspire to be one of those crazies walking along a rope between two tall buildings? No? No one blames you! However, you can learn the basics of tightrope walking, starting just a few feet off the ground. With the help of team mates, you will walk the wire, working on balance, until you can traverse the thin line on your own.

Body Bongos and More:
Your body is your instrument in this zany ice breaker of a team building experience. Perfect for large or small groups, your team works to create cohesive music by using their bodies for sound. Feet stomping, hand clapping, mouth popping and body drumming are just a few of many ways to create sound via the body. With a bit of practice, your entire group could form to become one giant human percussion symphony.

You Spin Me:
You might see plate spinning as an ancient oriental performance art and you would be right. With luck, you and some member of your team just might be able to master the basics of plate spinning all on your own. Plastic plates are used for safety sake although you all can graduate to something breakable! From individual plate spinning to group spinning, this activity can really test the nerves.

Go One-Wheeling:
The unicycle can be tough to master but once you do, it looks quite cool! If you want something with a bit of pizzazz for your team building day, going unicycling is right up there. It does take some practice but well worth the ooh’s and aah’s.

Hat Tossing:
Whether you go solo or try it with a team, hat tossing can be rather weird and interesting enough for a team building exercise. You manipulate hats around your body along with juggling them or even passing them to team mates. As you become more adept at hat tossing, the routines become more elaborate. Working together to create a cool routine supports teamwork, time management, concentration and communication.

Top This:
An interesting relation to juggling, diabolo is a type of juggling which consists of a top that is tossed and caught and balanced on a string which is tied to the end of two sticks which you control. It is an old form of self-entertainment and you can create tricks. You practice good coordination, time management and concentration during this diabolo game.

Hula Hoop Magic:
The art of hula hooping has been around for a few decades and it has come easier for kids. However, as an adult, you might flounder a bit until you get in some good practice. There is traditional hula hooping around the waist and now there is hooping for other body parts such as your arms, ankles, legs, and even neck. The hula hoop will aid in concentration as well as body conditioning.

The Spotlight:
At the end of circus day, you and your team will come together to show off your newfound skills. You probably never knew that nerdy Bob in accounting could take a graceful twirl around the trapeze while the boss is known for his tightrope walking.
